Meno Mix Tape Vol. 6 Find the Pause

Meno Tip - Find The Pause

If there’s one message that has been coming through loud and clear over the past few weeks, it’s this: slow down. Be more present. Take a break.

I share this message often with my clients—reminding them to make space for themselves, to breathe, to rest. And yet, if I’m being honest, I still struggle to take that advice myself. I do make it a point to move my body, to carve out daily time with my family, and to see friends each week. These are pillars in my life, and they matter deeply to me. But even in the midst of these nourishing routines, my mind is almost always buzzing with thoughts about work—how to grow my little business, how to reach more women, how to be of more meaningful service. My wheels are always turning.

This past weekend, I was away from Friday through Saturday afternoon, and for the first time in a while, I was able to put work on hold. Truly hold it. I didn’t let it dominate my thoughts—and that pause felt really, really good.

Now, I’m preparing to go away for five days. A true reset. A chance to step away from the constant motion and just be. I feel so grateful for this opportunity, and I know how needed it is. I’ve even gone ahead and planned another trip in the fall to do the same. Because here’s what I’ve learned: when I make space for stillness, creativity returns. New ideas begin to bloom. My clarity sharpens. And I feel more grounded in both purpose and peace.

So this is my gentle reminder to myself—and maybe to you, too: rest is not a reward. It’s part of the process. It's where the magic begins.

Quote of the Week

Be Where Your Feet Are!

I first heard this quote last Friday from a graduating high school senior addressing his senior class at St Anne’s-Belfield School. Since then, I have seen it written twice. Thank you, universe.

Fun Fact

Did you know we have between 40,000 and 60,000 thoughts each day? It’s true—and many of those thoughts are on repeat. Often, they’re critical or negative, especially when it comes to how we view our lives or our bodies. The same thoughts can loop over and over, without us even realizing it.

That’s where meditation comes in. It gives us space between the thoughts—a pause, a breath, a moment of possibility. Meditation can help interrupt those negative thought patterns and open the door to greater creativity, clarity, and peace.

If you're curious about how meditation might support you, I’d love to have a conversation.

My Mix

This week’s playlist is designed to help you create space for a pause—a moment to step away, reset, and breathe. These are a few of my favorite recordings that I return to when I need a mental break or just a brief escape from the noise of the world.

Do you have a favorite recording that helps you recharge? I’d love to hear what you turn to when you need a moment of calm.

Wishing you a few moments to pause this week. Sending love.

Stephanie
